How to Reach Palampur
By Rail: Palampur has its own railway station connecting it to important cities of Himachal Pradesh. This railway station lies on the major Palampur – Kangra Valley connecting Palampur to Pathankot and Kangra. Taxis are available from outside the railway stations.
By Air: Gaggal airport in Dharamsala is the nearest airport to Palampur. It is located at a distance of 40 km. Sri Guru Ram Dass Jee International Airport in Amritsar is the second nearest airport around 231 km.
By Road: It is well- connected by a network of roads. State-run buses work on a regular basis. To Palampur from Mandi, Dharamshala, Pathankot, Jogindernagar, Shimla, Chandigarh, Gurdaspur, Sandhole and so on. Hiring private taxis and cabs is also a suitable option.
