Refund & Cancellation Policy – HimalyanTrips

At HimalyanTrips, we understand that plans can change. Our cancellation and refund policy aims to be clear and fair while considering our commitments to vendors and service providers.
1. Cancellation by the Traveler
If you wish to cancel your booking, the following charges apply:
Days Before Departure | Cancellation Charges |
---|---|
30 days or more | 10% of the total package cost |
15 to 29 days | 25% of the total package cost |
7 to 14 days | 50% of the total package cost |
Less than 7 days | 100% of the total package cost (No refund) |

2. Cancellation by HimalyanTrips
In rare cases where we must cancel a trip due to unavoidable circumstances (e.g., natural calamities, low participation, political unrest), we offer:

A full refund, or

An opportunity to reschedule or transfer your booking to another tour.
3. Refund Policy

Refunds are processed within 7 to 10 business days after confirmation.

The refundable Amount will be credited on a original payment method within a 7 to 10 days.

Bookings via third-party portals will follow their individual refund policies.
4. Non-Refundable Components

Air/train tickets (if included) are subject to /railway rules.

Visa, permits, travel insurance, and documentation charges are non-refundable.

Any add-ons or services used outside the package are not eligible for refunds.
5. No Show Policy
Failure to join the tour on the designated start date without notice is treated as a “No Show” and is non-refundable.
6. Changes to Bookings
Date or itinerary changes are subject to availability and may include additional charges. Changes requested within 7 days of departure may not be accommodated.
